The Nashville Sea Cadets want you!!!
If you are a boy or girl between the ages of 11 and 17 and are looking for a good time, the Nashville Sea Cadets / Navy League is the place for you!! You will get once in the lifetime opportunities to wear the Sea Cadet uniform, go places and do things that normally are only available to adults in the Navy and all the while, making friends and learning things they don't teach in school. For those of you truly interested in joining the Navy later, you will get a "leg up" on your peers with advanced rate increases and coursework. If you are not, (or maybe curious) but still interested in Naval traditions, ships and all the excitement that comes your way, welcome aboard! There is NO commitment to service.
We "drill" once a month (usually the first full weekend of the month) and often spend Saturday nights, learning and playing - always under adult supervision and guided by our core values - "Honor, Courage and Commitment". Sure, there are study requirements in order to advance, but the knowledge gained is for life and can be applied to any path you may choose. During the school year we take weekend excursions, march in parades and field trips to exciting regional destinations.
Then there are the summer training camps....
Imagine yourself in a real boot camp for two weeks at an actual Naval base in California, underway on an aircraft carrier in the Gulf, at medical training in Virginia or even overseas on an exchange program!! The summer camps are really where it all comes together. There are literally dozens of opportunities every summer (and over winter break) guaranteed to fit your interests. Cadets get these opportunities, with minimal expense to the parents, as long as they stay current on their attendance and course work.

All you need to join is ask your parents, discuss and get permission. Once you have discussed the commitments, print and complete the forms below. (There is a small annual enrollment fee and a one-time uniform deposit.) After all the paperwork, E-mail Us and we will schedule an enrollment interview.
