Awards and Recognitions
Every month each company nominates one senior member of
their company and one junior member of their company for Cadet of the Month. These nominations are then passed onto the cadet leadership for final selection. The name of the chosen cadets are presented to the CO for approval.

Cadet Nicholai (Nick) Turner is the newest LPD-13 alumnus. During our May drill, Cadet PO2 Turner relinquished his position as lead cadet as he prepares
to graduate from Ensworth School at the end of the month and embark on the next chapter in his life.

This new chapter will begin with Cadet Turner accept-
ing an NROTC scholarship to attend Georgia Institute
of Technology (Georgia Tech) as an architecture student. Georgia Tech is one of the oldest and most respected polytechnical universities in the United
States and the 5-year Architecture program is among the top in the nation.
